We were absolutely amazed by The Band Down Under at our wedding reception. Dan and the band set the perfect tone with a chilled acoustic set during guest arrival, getting everyone dancing before they even sat down. They seamlessly transitioned to high-energy music that kept the dance floor packed all night.

The highlight for us was their rendition of 'A Sky Full of Stars' for our first dance. Dan and the band perfectly executed our vision, starting the song acoustically while my husband and I had our moment and then ramping it up halfway through, encouraging everyone to join us on the dance floor.

Working with Dan throughout the planning process was a pleasure. He understood our preferences and ensured everything ran smoothly on the day. The additional vocalists, saxophonist, and guitarist complemented the band perfectly, creating a dynamic and unforgettable performance.

I have to say that I feel really lucky to saw the band and their performances, because it was really stunning.

I had the privilege of watching The Band down Under perform live at a wedding that I was attending. From the out set, I was blown away.

In my previous experience of the many weddings that I’ve attended, most entrances are boring and cliche and the DJ’s are no better.

These guys however brought an immediate energy to the room that I have not seen matched thus far.

I’m usually not one to get up and dance at weddings, however they set a mood that I had never seen. The whole floor was up and dancing, without a single butt planted to a seat.

It’s a real testament to the bands professionalism , their unique talent and undeniable natural energy they bring. Following the wedding, in conversations had with others, similar things were said which proved to me it wasn’t just the alcohol talking.

If my wife and I knew about these guys earlier, we would have hired them for our wedding. My wife actually turned to me during the event and said “They were the missing piece to our wedding”.

Although I wish to use them in the future, I’m not planning on getting remarried lol ! However I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone wanting a funky, talented and unique band to make the most of your special day and entertain your guests.

It’s important to note that I’m also not one to write reviews as I find most things extremely underwhelming, especially bands. So the fact that I’m writing this says a lot about my experience and the way you guys made me feel on the night.

I had the pleasure of seeing the Band Down Under at the wedding of their very own Dan. Wow what a show it was, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the dance floor and get amongst the vibes and action. You get that “feel good” feeling, these guys put their heart and soul into their performances and they sure know how to work the crowd! Can’t wait to see their next performance. Unbelievable! I had the pleasure of being a groomsman at a wedding that hired The Band Down Under and they had everyone on the dance floor the entire night.
